Extended breaks are the curse of grappling training. There is nothing wrong with taking time off to heal or to deal with professional or personal problems. However, there needs to be a clear understanding that when taking time off, stamina and strength will decrease and there will need to be a certain period of time where the 'game' you had when you left will be radically diminished. Is there anything wrong here? Physically no, because you will eventualy get you game back when you shake off the 'ring rust.' Psychologically, however, you may run into some problems that are of your own creation
