Some Classic Wrestling Books for Your Library

Since I have been on a kick regarding making recommendations for consumer purchases lately, I thought I would also pass on a recommendation for two must have books that can b picked up in pretty much any bookstore as they are popular and common titles that remain perennial sellers.

The first is the aptly titles WRESTLING FOR BEGINNERS and it is written by Tom Jarman and Reid Hanley. This is a fairly old book as it was first published in 1983, but it is still in print and remains a solid book that covers a variety of basic wrestling positions, holds and techniques and provides a solid intro to someone who wants to learn the basics of the game. This is also a cheap book costing less that $14.

The second must have wrestling book for your library is a slightly more advanced title and it is also a slightly more expensive title as it costs around $18. It is called Greco-Roman Wrestling by William A. Martell and it is the absolute classic text on the subject of the clinch. Honestly, nothing else comes close to covering the clinch in the way this book does and it is highly recommended.
