Bas Rutten Panther DVD

While the DVDs that Bas Rutten made for Panther were produced several years ago, these tapes/dvds do stand the test of time as the material on the tapes are quite excellent and Bas is also very articulate an detailed in his approach to the material.

Now, I have to be honest, the EXTREME PANCRASE series is many, many volumes and I have only seen Vol 1 (which deals with stand up fighting which is a GREAT GREAT volume) and Vol 2 which deals with Heel Hooks and kneebars which is a very good dvd.

Keep in mind, some of the material that you see on the heel hook tape is familiar material that has previously been seen before, the way in which Rutten presents it here is in such a detailed manner that you will feel like you are being presented with the info for the first time. (Well, in a way, you are) My one complaint is that the Panther formula of a lot of techniques is present, but Rutten's explicit details make the proceedings of the DVD very much worth watching. This is good stuff. Rutten seems like an excellent coach and trainer as well as a hell of a nic guy.
